Meet the Winemaker Evening – Weds 25th November
Still a few places left for the Wine Dinner on Wednesday!
Charles Hopkins will be presenting:
Rosé, Methode Cap Classique, Sauvignon Blanc, Koetshuis Sauvignon Blanc (Wine Mag Top 10), Merlot, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, and the newly released Rubaiyat.
As a special treat, the catering will be presented by La Cucina Dalla Cia. Following a starter platter of antipasto, the main course will be Pollo al Funghi Porcini (Chicken Breast with Porcini Mushrooms & white wine sauce) accompanied by Creamed Potatoes with Parmigiano and oven baked Tomatoes, or Fresh Line Fish.
The evening costs R155pp incl service fee, and starts at 6.30 for 7.00pm. Booking is essential. Tel 087 808 2013

In the Wine Shop
The 2009 harvest has been rated as the best this decade, especially for Sauvignon Blancs, and we have a wide range available. Especially good value are Cape Atlantic (4* - R39), Iona Sophie Te’Blanche (R49), MAN Vintners (R42), Havanna Hills (5* - R69)

We have (limited) stocks of many of the John Platter 5* wines, including Eben Sadie’s Columella & Palladius, Ataraxia and Paul Cluver Chardonnays, Kanonkop Paul Sauer, and the Haskell Pillars Syrah which was recently awarded the Tri-Nations Trophy for Best Wine.

Just a reminder that we are closed on Christmas Day, and the Day of Goodwill (25th & 26th December) and on January 1st. Other than that, it’s business as usual!
