At long last they have received their Wine Boutique Licence - so it is all systems go and they are trading. Pop in and visit Miriam to get great advice on your needs from a selection of the finest and some great value wines from the Cape. 13th June is Mriam's first Winter Warmer evening, red wines, soup and port. June is a special month - highlighting Elgin Vintners with great deals on these superb wines. On Wed evening 18th June a simple wine dinner with Elgin will take place. Taste wines including their Sav/Blanc, Merlot, Shiraz, Cab/Sav and Agama (rated 4* in John Platter - new French barrel selection, blend of Cab and Merlot, a complex array of fruit, fennel and dried herbs). Next Wine Dinner is Wed 11 June - Wine Dinner - Their guest this evening will be Neil Moorhouse, the Winemaker from Zorgvliet - situated in the picturesque Banhoek Valley, on the Franschhoek side of Helshoogte. Neil is producing a wide variety of exciting wines in 3 ranges, namely Zorgvliet, Silver Myn and Le Pommier. Up to 8 of these wines will be presented in conjunction with the dinner.
