Hi Everybody!
Summer came, and summer went, but hopefully it will be back again very soon!
Whatever the weather, though, there is always lots happening at MANUKA @ SOUTHEYS.

How about some LIVE MUSIC THIS SATURDAY?

On Saturday evening, we will again be entertained by FIRST OPTION. Those of you who were here when Brian and Lyn played for us last month will know what a great party it turned out to be, so put on your glad rags, and mosie on down to Manuka on Saturday. The music will start from 8.00pm, and booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Our PIZZA SPECIAL this month is for a free bottle of wine with each 2 pizzas ordered, either for eat-in or take-away. This is available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6.00pm (but not this Saturday as the entertainment is FREE!).
Watch out for some Kids' Specials coming up soon as well.

Our next Meet the Winemaker dinner is this coming Wednesday, 12th October, with the irrepressible Danie Truter from ONDERKLOOF WINES on the Sir Lowry's Pass Road. So come and see what wonderful wines are being made right here on our doorstep. And if you want a foretaste of some of the wines, ONDERKLOOF will be doing a tasting in the wine shop on Saturday morning.
To further promote the wonderful wines of the Helderberg, we are arranging for tastings of various wines at each of the Craft Markets between now and Christmas, in conjunction with Rotary, and we have our dedicated Helderberg Wines display in the Wine Shop. So, come along and support our local winemakers, because LOCAL IS LEKKER!!!
Just to follow that theme, our next dinner on 2nd November is with Eikendal, and they have been doing some great things lately.

Alison, Morne and I work incredibly hard on your behalf, tasting as many wines as we can to make sure that you are getting the best value available. Yes, we know it's tough, but we'll go to any lengths to keep our customers satisfied! We are more than happy to sip it and ship it!
