"The Cape Wine Academy is 25 years old this year!  We are currently educating approximately 8,000 people per year throughout South Africa who has become part of the big wine family, indicating a continuous growth in wine appreciation and knowledge.

The Cape Wine Academy has branched out with another venue in Cape Town; Manuka Fine Wines at Steenberg Village in Tokai will be hosting specific Cape Wine Academy courses in the southern suburbs.

The first wine course to be offered at Manuka is the entry level course, The Introduction to South African Wine Course.  Designed to be fun and informative, the course consists of 3 lectures.  Each includes a wine tasting and is completed by a short theory exam.  Exciting subjects such as the South African wine history, what happens in the vineyard and in the cellar, and how to look after your wine are covered.  Lectures are presented by people in the industry with a passion to share their knowledge with you."
